Other Chain Description

Rise In has engaged with several blockchain ecosystems, each with its unique characteristics and requirements. Their past collaborations include notable work with NEAR, BNB Chain, Solana, Aptos, Open Campus, Scroll, ICP (Internet Computer Protocol), and Polkadot, showcasing a diverse range of engagements across different blockchain platforms. Engagement with Various Chains: NEAR: Rise In undertook the challenging task of training over 1000 developers and achieving 100 testnet projects within 90 days for NEAR. Their successful completion of this pilot program and the subsequent scaling of the program to train 10,000 certified developers demonstrate their ability to meet demanding goals and deadlines. BNB Chain: Rise In's partnership with BNB Chain was focused on fostering a community of developers interested in web3 and blockchain technology. This collaboration was aimed at empowering developers to build innovative projects on the BNB Chain, indicating Rise In's ability to create an environment conducive to learning and innovation. Solana and ICP: For both Solana and ICP, Rise In managed community-based initiatives such as Superteam TR and ICP.Hub TR. These efforts resulted in the creation of over 400 projects in bootcamps, distribution of $84,000+ in bounties and grants to more than 30 projects, organization of 80+ events, and the formation of 5+ web3 ventures. This showcases Rise In's expertise in community management, real use-case product building, and fostering a productive learning environment. Polkadot: Rise In's engagement with Polkadot involved a thorough bootcamp process, with a total of 2096 applications, 450 developers allocated to cohorts, and an expected graduation of 100 developers. This indicates a significant impact in terms of training volume and developer engagement within the Polkadot ecosystem. Engagement with Soroban: The engagement with Soroban would likely differ from these past experiences due to Soroban's unique features and its positioning within the Stellar ecosystem. Soroban brings smart contract capabilities to Stellar, which opens up new avenues for decentralized application development. Therefore, Rise In's engagement with Soroban would focus on: Smart Contract Education: Given Soroban's role as a smart contract platform, Rise In would need to develop specialized training modules that cover smart contract development, emphasizing the specificities of Soroban's architecture and functionalities. Project-Based Learning: Similar to their engagements with other chains, Rise In could focus on project-based learning but with a specific emphasis on developing and deploying smart contracts on Soroban. Community Building and Hackathons: Leveraging their experience in organizing events and hackathons, Rise In could create Soroban-centric hackathons and community events, fostering a community of developers skilled in creating smart contracts for various use cases within the Stellar ecosystem. Tailored Bootcamps: Specialized bootcamps could be developed to cater to developers interested specifically in Soroban's capabilities, differentiating from broader blockchain technology training.

Rise In

Entity Description

Rise In launches developer outreach and training programs globally with community outreach events and educational programs. Rise In has engaged with several blockchain ecosystems, each with its unique characteristics and requirements.

Product & Architecture

Part I: Continuing the Momentum in India Soroban Community

What the Product Is: Rise In's extension of the Soroban Developer Outreach Program in India aims to sustain and expand engagement and development activities initiated from February to May 2024. This extension focuses on advanced training, ongoing support, and further community engagement to maintain momentum and enhance outcomes.

Problems Solved and Audience: This program addresses the need for advanced Soroban development skills, supports existing developers, and attracts new participants. It targets developers from the initial program and new developers interested in web3 technology and Stellar Soroban smart contracts. This enhances skill development, project quality, and strengthens the local Soroban community.

How it Works with Stellar/Soroban: The program integrates deeper Soroban modules, advanced smart contract development, and practical workshops, covering real-world use cases, advanced Soroban functionalities, and integration with Stellar’s financial infrastructure. This equips developers to contribute effectively to the Stellar ecosystem.

Online Courses/Bootcamps: Advanced online courses and bootcamps build on initial training, focusing on sophisticated Soroban and Stellar topics. Sessions include complex project development, real-world problem-solving, and integration with the Stellar network, providing hands-on experience and advanced knowledge.

Community Outreach Events (Hackathons, Meet-ups): Advanced hackathons and meet-ups continue fostering community engagement and collaboration, challenging developers to create innovative solutions using Soroban and Stellar, facilitating deeper understanding and practical application of these technologies.

Part II: Start of the First-Ever Soroban Community in Turkey

What the Product Is: This initiative establishes the first Soroban Developer Community in Turkey, leveraging Patika.dev’s developer network. It includes developer outreach, education, and engagement activities aimed at integrating Soroban into the Turkish developer ecosystem.

Problems Solved and Audience: The program addresses the lack of localized Soroban developer resources in Turkey. It targets Turkish developers with a web2 background looking to transition to web3 and existing web3 developers interested in Soroban. Benefits include enhanced local developer skills, increased Stellar project development, and a robust Turkish Soroban community.

How it Works with Stellar/Soroban: The Turkish Soroban Community will offer tailored workshops, IRL meetups, and exclusive training on Soroban smart contract development, introducing Soroban’s capabilities, its integration with Stellar, and guiding developers in creating innovative dApps.

Online Courses/Bootcamps: Soroban-specific online courses and bootcamps, adapted for the Turkish audience, will cover introductory and intermediate levels, providing practical training on Soroban and Stellar integration, encouraging project development, and fostering local expertise.

Community Outreach Events (Hackathons, Meet-ups): Hackathons and meet-ups will build a collaborative environment for Soroban development in Turkey, engaging developers through hands-on challenges and discussions focused on Soroban and Stellar, promoting community interaction and innovation.

Part III: Content Creation Pilot Program

What the Product Is: The Content Creation Pilot Program aims to explore and establish methods for generating Soroban-related content, producing 200 pieces of content over two months, contributing to Stellar's broader goal of creating 100,000 pieces of content.

Problems Solved and Audience: The program addresses the need for diverse, high-quality Soroban content to educate and engage the global developer community. It targets content creators, developers, and community members interested in sharing their Soroban experiences. Benefits include increased awareness, enhanced learning resources, and a more informed developer community.

How it Works with Stellar/Soroban: The pilot program will use methods like incentivizing content creation, leveraging social media, and integrating content production into existing developer programs. Content types will include tutorials, blog posts, videos, and community interactions focused on Soroban and Stellar, ensuring a continuous flow of relevant and engaging content for developer learning and community growth.

Online Courses/Bootcamps: Incorporating content creation into bootcamps and courses will encourage participants to document and share their learning journeys and project experiences, contributing to the content goals while enhancing their own learning.

Community Outreach Events (Hackathons, Meet-ups): Hackathons and meet-ups will be platforms for generating and sharing content, where participants document projects, share insights, and create educational materials for the content pool.

Total Expected Roadmap

Part I: Continuing the Momentum in India Soroban Community

We aim to build on the momentum generated from February to May by continuing our efforts in June and July 2024. The focus will be on onboarding new developers, organizing advanced training sessions, and supporting previous participants to join the Stellar Startup program and develop meaningful projects.

Part II: Start of the First-Ever Soroban Community in Turkey

In July and August 2024, we will establish the first-ever Soroban community in Turkey. This will include launching developer outreach initiatives, conducting online workshops and IRL meet-ups, and leveraging Patika.dev's network to integrate Soroban into the Turkish developer ecosystem.

Part III: Content Creation Pilot Program

From July to August 2024, we will initiate a content creation pilot program to produce 200 pieces of Soroban-related content. This will involve testing various methods of incentivizing and producing content, with the aim of scaling the most effective strategies to contribute to Stellar's goal of 100,000 pieces of content
