Team Background
Our team is set up for success because we are a team of designers, market strategists, and consist of individuals who are not only native Ghanaians, but are also part of the African Diaspora. We have members on our team who are patent holders, Expo 2020 Global Innovators, and also run other startups in the fintech and ecommerce space.
Our approach is rooted in user-centric design and design thinking. Extensive feedback from university students, young professionals, and organizations/startups within various African countries and abroad has shaped our current designs and minimum viable product. Our team's brilliance extends beyond empathy-driven design; our members have years of experience working within startups and companies within African countries including Hubtel, Blossom Academy, BothOfUs in Sweden, and LifeBank in Nigeria.
Our team also participated in the Stellar Community Fund Start-up bootcamp and incorporated learnings and feedback from user research/interviews across the 3-day session. We addressed multiple rounds of feedback from previous submissions and are incorporating a Stellar ecosystem partner (Flutterwave) into our on/off-ramp services by leveraging their APIs. We also partnered with other early stage freelance platforms by building our platform as a white-label solution for them in their attempt to onboard their platform's userbase registered users across 7 African countries, connecting them to the global economy. This go-to-market strategy is more strategic as it rests on the shoulders of a proven system vetted by another startup, tapping into their already existing significant userbase.
